Happy Friday!
It is finally FUN February. This month is packed with special days and celebrations. This week we celebrated Lunar New Year, Groundhog Day, and began celebrating Black History Month.
Valentine's Day
We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Monday, Feb 14! This will be a casual day as well. We will be making envelopes and you can send valentines with your child to school to hand out. If your child is bringing cards, they must have enough for everyone so that we don't have any hurt feelings.

Please DO NOT send in food treats, as we cannot hand these out (i.e. cupcakes, cookies, etc). All Valentine's received will be going home to be opened under parent supervision.
Assembly
The youtube link to our assembly was emailed to you today. The students are extremely proud of their acting performances so please take a look. Our class skit is at the 6-minute mark and we are also at the beginning of the singing of O Canada.
I personally think we may have some future Oscar-winning actors and actresses in our class!
