Good evening,

Since I had questions about what is needed on the first day of school, I decided to make a list here! You do not need to send in any school supplies (pencils, erasers, crayons, etc), as I already have those ready to go.

Items needed for the first day of school:

• Indoor black non-marking dress shoes
• Indoor gym shoes
• Lunch and snack
• Waterbottle that closes properly 
• 2 masks
• It is always a good idea to pack extra pants in your child's backpack in case we have a bathroom accident (this may happen as we get used to being back at school!)

REMINDER:

TOMORROW (Tuesday, August 31, 2021), is our Meet the Teacher Ice Cream Social from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m! Students with last names beginning with A-L, please come between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. and students with last names from M-Z, please come between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.

Welcome back to Le Roi Daniels for another wonderful school year! My name is Ms. Overdevest and I will be your child's first grade teacher this year. Last year I was a Hub teacher and although I enjoyed teaching in a unique setting, I am excited to be back in front of students!
