Happy Friday!
We had a wonderful second week in grade one! We did our first art project-check out the picture below! We also began exploring patterns using a variety of math manipulatives in our classroom. Look at the pictures with your child and see if they can identify the patterns.

Highlights from the meeting:
- Have a discussion with your child about whether or not you would like to have them wear their mask in gym.
- If you have shoes with shoelaces at school, students need to tie them independently!
- Homework will start on Monday (the file will be posted Sunday night). I will send home new Blue folders with Homework Books inside.
- Please pack snack in a separate container.
- Students have a working snack in the morning. This means that we don't stop as a whole class to eat, rather students are permitted to eat their snack in the morning when they feel hungry. Students go outside to play at 11:43 and come in to eat at 12:03. They eat until 12:25.
